i thank the wedding photographer who responded to this. i also thank all of the wedding clients i have had over the last 12 years who have recognized the value in my work. it is unfortunate that this gal has the same misconception as so many others. photographers have the most important job at any wedding and work very hard for it.like the story of picasso:
a man approaches picasso to ask if he would make his portrait. picasso agrees and quickly renders the drawing. he hands the drawing to the man and indicates it will cost him $10 000 to own it. the man is furious: "what?? it only took you 10 minutes to make that!" "no", picasso responds, "it took me a lifetime."
